Caloah was founded on a core strength in entrepreneurship, differentiating itself from other investment managers through alignment with co-investors as partners. Our aim is to utilize our capital, strategic vision, and operational expertise to build great companies, which in turn generate returns used for investment into the community at large. We seek partners who share our core values and are looking to grow their capital base under the pretext of truly responsible leadership at the forefront of their minds and brands. Founded in 2015, Caloah Private Equity was spun off from its origins as a family office and has evolved to become a more conventional private equity structure. While this structure is similar to other investment managers, our approach is quite different: no management fees on committed capital and a capital base that is at least 50% proprietary. We believe in aligning our interests with our partners, portfolio teams, and internal investment managers – for the long term. By doing so, everyone pulls the ship in the same direction. Forward.
