About Brydge Club
Brydge Club is a private community for women angel investors, founded by Ruffin Mitchener, a Deloitte alum and UCLA MBA who previously worked in financial operations at PeerStreet, an a16z-backed real estate tech platform. The club has grown to over 200 members.
Membership includes Angel Investing 101, a four-part educational series on evaluating startups, reading term sheets, and running diligence, alongside a workshop library, vetted deal flow, and a private Slack community with virtual and in-person meetups.
The club focuses on consumer, health tech, and fintech startups, co-investing alongside firms like a16z, Khosla Ventures, True Ventures, and Village Global. Notable deals include Clair Health, Bumo, GOB, Lore, Offe Market, and POCA, with typical member check sizes ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 and over $500,000 deployed to date.
Brydge Club's investment approach centers on curated, vetted deal flow paired with hands-on education, aiming to close the gender gap in venture capital, where less than 2% of VC funding goes to all-female founding teams and less than 15% of VC decision-makers are women.
