About Brookline Small Business Resilience Grant Program

The Small Business Resilience Grant Program is open to small businesses located in Brookline, MA that have a plan to optimize their business and are seeking financial support to make it happen. The program will provide funds to a variety of businesses that were disproportionately impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Eligible project proposals must fit into one of three broad categories: Placemaking, Programming, or Facilities/Infrastructure. Details of each category in the Program Guidelines. The program is federally funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). ARPA is intended to address the negative health and economic impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town Select Board invested $500,000 of the Town’s allocated ARPA funds to support the small business community and commercial area vibrancy. Businesses selected to receive grants are subject to all local, state, and federal regulations.
