Broad Street Bulls provides pre-seed and seed funding for start-up companies. We fuel the prairies’ technology sector with early-stage capital, mentorship, and support. Broad Street Bulls was founded in Regina, SK by a group of entrepreneurs and business leaders who care about the prairies. Wanting to support the growing prairie tech ecosystem, they created a fund whose purpose is to fund and advise local founders with innovative ideas. As a Lead Investor, we want to be more than just a cheque. Our experienced management team and a wide network of angel investors offer support to the companies we invest in. When we partner with a founding team to lead their investment round, we guide everything from their governance to their business model. We don’t just hope that the start-ups we invest in a scale, we work with founders to help them scale. As a Co-Investor, we enjoy working with other organizations and investors to finance an investment round. Our goal is to ensure the company has the right partners to help them through their next phase of growth, and then we provide capital to allow that growth. Our Thesis. -Support the local start-up ecosystem. Not only with capital, but also mentorship and leadership. -Invest capital into start-ups in the pre-seed and seed stage that show promise of growth far beyond the prairies. -Reward portfolio companies that grow fast with more capital through follow-ons in later financing rounds. -Diversify our investments across a variety of industries and a multitude of geographies. -Focus on Saskatchewan, but seek opportunities for growth throughout the prairies and beyond.
