When we started Brightspark 20 years ago, we knew that technology would change everything and that Canada would play an increasingly significant role in that process. Our mandate was, and remains, to find the best early-stage VC investments in Canada and help build value in these businesses. As the market evolved, we saw an opportunity to disrupt one of the most traditional industries out there: our own. With tech and entrepreneurship at our core, our ambition remains to be the leading VC/fintech hybrid.
