About Bridgestone Americas Foundation

Since 1931, Bridgestone Americas’ global mission, “serving society with superior quality,” has guided everything that we do. Our teammates serve around the world through charitable giving, volunteering, and on boards of non-profit organizations. In the last five years, the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund has contributed over 10 million dollars to organizations serving the communities where our teammates live, work, and play. In 2023, we are evaluating our corporate giving and social impact strategy. We are not accepting requests for funding from organizations that have not received previous funding from the Trust Fund. However, we will be providing new opportunities for organizations to connect with Bridgestone throughout the year and hope to make an even greater impact on society in 2024 with our philanthropic partners. Bridgestone will continue to support previously funded organizations that serve society in four broad areas of focus: Health and Social Services. We support community-based organizations that connect and mobilize resources for underserved or underrepresented populations. Environment and Conservation. We support organizations that preserve the natural world for current and future generations. STEM and education. We support educational institutions and non-profits, with a heavy emphasis on those that develop diverse talent in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Equity and Inclusion. We support organizations that create equitable access to opportunities and resources for marginalized and historically underrepresented people in the United States.
