Brickyard is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm, founded in 2021, that runs a private in-person facility where portfolio companies build together until hitting a self-selected ARR of $1 million to $3 million. It is not an accelerator, with no programs, cohorts, or demo day. Brickyard writes $500,000 to $800,000 checks on market terms, with no cost to build in the facility, and teams typically stay about 18 months. It prefers to lead rounds, and its portfolio companies run the facility day to day. It is sector-agnostic, with investments spanning AI, fintech, proptech, defense, and robotics, including Waypoint, Provision, Peach, Hilt, Retina Robotics, and Physical Superintelligence. Brickyard seeks driven founders willing to relocate, work intensely, and commit to the grind until product-market fit.
