Brent Goldman, Angel Investor

Brent Goldman is an engineer, investor, and artist with a career spanning technology leadership and venture capital. He is the Founder and General Partner of Lancelot Ventures, where he has invested in more than 80 companies, including DoorDash, Instacart, Slack, Opendoor, Zenefits, OneMedical, and Boom Supersonic, primarily at the seed and Series A stages. He previously served as VP and Head of Engineering at Sisu, leading the transformation of its engineering organization and building advanced data analytics infrastructure. At Uber, Brent was one of the first 200 engineers, co‑founding the Marketplace Dynamics group and later directing the Self‑Driving Platform team, which developed the systems to integrate and operate autonomous vehicles on Uber’s network. Earlier, he co‑founded Standard Treasury, which was later acquired by Silicon Valley Bank. As an angel investor, Brent’s portfolio includes Blue, Atrium LTS, Better, and Fuel, reflecting his focus on early‑stage ventures in fintech, data, and consumer technology.
