Brain Tumor Investment Fund

Leveraging the National Brain Tumor Society’s (NBTS) 30 years of experience, expertise, and achievement, the BTIF is a venture philanthropy fund supporting NBTS’s vision to conquer and cure brain tumors by investing in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies. BTIF helps accelerate promising research and bring forward potentially transformative treatments, enabling technologies to improve the lives of patients with a brain tumor. We seek out and invest in opportunities to extend survival and improve the quality of life for brain tumor patients. We consider potential investments with strong biological rationale, clear mechanisms of action, and development plans that are both bold and realistic. Through investment and collaboration with portfolio companies, BTIF brings forward emerging products, technologies, and ideas to the field of neuro-oncology. We invest in projects poised to ultimately deliver significant financial returns of capital to the fund to enable an evergreen investment fund.
