Brain Trust Accelerator Fund

The Brain Trust Accelerator Funds focus on translational stage investments that address the diagnosis and treatment of brain-related diseases. Over its life, Fund I has generated top tier rates of return, resulted in approaches to benefit up to ten million patients with brain diseases, and delivered $500,000 to charities. We are equally optimistic for the prospects for Fund II. Areas of Interest ▪ Technologies to deliver therapeutics across the blood brain barrier - a common barrier that impedes the treatment of many brain diseases. ▪ Technologies to help optimize therapies that are most likely to benefit selected patients - commonly known as personalized medicine. ▪ Molecularly targeted therapies that affect the abnormal pathways implicated in a variety of brain related disorders. The Brain Trust Accelerator Funds capitalize on our experience in brain-related diseases, our operational as well as venture capital experience, the potential deal flow from philanthropies, and our focus on social as well as economic considerations.
