We look for: ▪ Founders who are smart, flexible, relentless, and can close a sale. ▪ Clear differentiation within a broad competitive set. ▪ An underlying consumer insight that is on-trend and growing. ▪ A reasonable valuation for early-stage investors. ▪ Businesses with accelerating growth, solid unit economics, strong customer love, and line of sight to profitability. One of the hardest things to do is to sell something to a buyer, so Boyle Ventures does not invest in pre-revenue companies. Check sizes outside of syndicates are between $25,000 and $75,000.
