Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, my entrepreneurial journey began within the walls of my family's local grocery store, where I first learned the value of hard work, community, and the intricacies of retail business. This early exposure sparked a passion for innovation in commerce, leading me to launch a pioneering online textbook marketplace during my sophomore year of college. This venture quickly became a leader in its space and was subsequently acquired by one of the global giants in the college textbook industry, marking my first major entrepreneurial success. In 2015, I co-founded Mercato, a venture born out of a desire to champion independent grocers in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. Mercato is a vertically integrated online marketplace designed to enable independent grocers to not only survive but thrive through omnichannel selling, ensuring their valuable place in communities across the nation. Beyond my entrepreneurial endeavors, I am deeply committed to fostering innovation and growth within the tech sector as an active angel investor and advisor. I leverage my experiences, successes, and lessons learned to guide and support emerging technology startups, helping them to navigate the complexities of scaling and achieving sustainable success.
