The companies we look for have: 1) Management teams of high integrity, strong work ethic, are loyal and have a track record of success in the business in which we are asked to invest, 2) Market barriers to entry, and is a business we can understand, 3) A team that supports a “win-win” structure, meaning the entrepreneur can only win if our investors do. We win or lose together. And while phone calls and e-mails are effective forms of communication, we prefer shaking hands, meeting face-to-face and getting to know companies and their families.
