Bill James, Angel Investor

Experienced investor with a long history of working at the highest levels of the investment industry. Expert at measuring and monitoring financial / investment risk, creating risk management systems and processes, and evaluating investment strategies and managers. Interested in quantitative and mechanical trading systems, technical analysis, and charting of markets. From 1997 to 2015, I worked for the University of Notre Dame Investment Office, where I had various roles, beginning with managing the fixed income and energy/commodities asset classes, then credit/distressed and multi-strategy hedge funds, and finally, my last 7 years were as the risk manager. Currently, I am trading, investing, and executing market timing investment strategies for my own portfolio, and serving on the investment committee of a health system in Northern Indiana that has approximately $1 billion of operating funds and foundation assets. In addition, I serve as a Board Member for Memorial Hospital of South Bend. I am also pursuing projects in digital product creation and distribution.
