Bill Dawson is an angel investor for an Indiana-based angel group and venture fund. "I have spent almost 20 years of my career working on and in startups. I enjoy every moment of it! I have been instrumental in the assessment, execution, and integration of $160MM in acquisitions. During that time, I have also led teams of 12 – 60 resources in improving operations and exceeding revenue/profit goals. I have been successful because I seek to understand the unique vision of each business and translate that into a strategy that supports their team towards the objective. Many times, that means finding a pivot appropriate to the current growth stage, encouraging collaborative conversations across disciplines, or coaching and mentoring teams to help move the company objectives forward.
