Bert Amato, Angel Investor

Bert has an entrepreneurial record of more than 25 years of software engineering, product strategy, design, investment, and management experience in the technology industry. Bert is currently an investor, director, and advisor to multiple technology companies and funds. He co-founded Delrina Corporation, best known for its communications software product, WinFax. As Chief Technical Officer of Delrina, he was responsible for all product strategy and R&D he was also a Director and the Executive Vice President of the public company. When Delrina was sold to Symantec Corporation, he served as a Vice President with Symantec. Prior to his work with Delrina, Bert held a technical development position at the IBM Canada Research Laboratory and was a co-founder and executive officer of Schematix Computer Systems Inc., a software and consulting company.
