Ben Lang, Angel Investor

Ben Lang is a community builder, angel investor, and writer. He currently supports the Cursor community and publishes Next Play, a newsletter with 80,000+ subscribers that curates opportunities, gatherings, and ideas for what’s next. Previously, Ben was an early member of Notion, where he led community for nearly five years, helping scale the platform’s global reach. He has also been active in First Round Capital’s Angel Track program and continues to advise and support early‑stage founders. As an angel investor, he has made about 14 investments across productivity, AI, and SaaS. Recent investments include Alta, PromptLayer, Atlas, and Passionfroot, reflecting his focus on startups building tools for creativity, collaboration, and growth.
