BC Tech Association

BC Tech Association is a member-led, non-profit technology association based in Vancouver, British Columbia, rather than a venture capital or private equity firm. Its mission is to make BC the best place to grow and scale a tech company, helping startups become scaleups and eventually anchor companies. Its accelerator programs include the Scaleup Academy, a self-paced learning hub; the Scaleup IP Accelerator, covering up to 75% of approved IP costs; the AI Vertical Accelerator; HyperGlobal for international market entry; and an Indigenous-led Tech Company Accelerator offering complimentary membership. Support targets member tech companies in BC, especially SMEs at growth or scale stage with a product in market and strong customer demand. Its approach combines education, mentorship, peer networks, talent programs, and market access. Approved IP projects receive up to $25,000 for strategy and $60,000 for implementation.
