Baris Gultekin, Angel Investor

Baris Gultekin is the VP of Product, AI at Snowflake, where he leads the teams building Cortex AI for LLM inference, agents, Snowflake Intelligence, Search, Document AI, and advanced ML capabilities such as forecasting and modeling APIs. His work is shaping Snowflake’s AI and ML platform strategy at scale. Previously, Baris co‑founded nxyz, a Web3 search and data access startup backed by Paradigm, Sequoia, and Greylock, which was acquired by Snowflake in 2023. He also served as Senior Director of Product Management at Google, where he led the Google Assistant and AI teams on Android, scaling the product from 10M to 500M monthly users. Earlier, he co‑founded SORU, an NLP company focused on enterprise productivity, and was a key product leader behind Google Now, the precursor to Google Assistant. As an angel investor, Baris has backed startups including Yupp, Arta, CoinTracker, kimkim, and Travelstride, reflecting his focus on AI, fintech, and consumer technology platforms.
