Balaji Prabhakar, Angel Investor

Balaji Prabhakar is the Co-founder of Clockwork Systems, where he works on software-defined AI fabrics and large-scale synchronization systems. He is also the VMware Founders Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, focusing on distributed systems, networks, and large-scale computing. Earlier, he co-founded Urban Engines, where he served as Chief Scientist and worked on data-driven transportation systems before its acquisition and integration into larger platforms. He is also an angel investor, participating in early-stage companies across AI, infrastructure, and applied machine learning. His investments include GridCARE, Yupp, and an earlier angel investment in Stage 3.
