Axle Equity Partners (Axle) is a private investment firm that specialises in investing in and working with SMEs (>$3m EBIT) to help support business growth plans and succession needs. Axle's key focus industries are consumer products, industrials, services, and financial services. Axle's philosophy is to take the time to understand businesses and their objectives, stakeholder needs, and the market context, and not to invest unless we can add genuine value beyond the capital. We understand and empathise with the challenges and rewards of running and growing an SME, and bring a blend of strategic, financial, and operational improvement experience to the table. Axle's target equity investment size is $5m to $20m and has the flexibility to consider significant minority shareholdings, transactions that deliver diversification of the owners’ wealth, and co-investments with other investors. Axle's investors include some of the most successful business owners, executives, and families in Australia and Asia. The funding base will initially be on a deal-by-deal basis.
