Venture Asheville

Venture Asheville is the high-growth entrepreneurship initiative of the Economic Development Coalition for Asheville-Buncombe County and the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. Our work centers on catalyzing Asheville’s high-growth entrepreneurial ecosystem and connecting entrepreneurs with startup funding, mentors, and talent to scale their ventures. MISSION Venture Asheville grows Asheville’s startup community and connects high-growth entrepreneurs to talent, mentors, and investors through unique programming and events. VISION Transform Asheville into a world-class startup city. There are numerous avenues for venture financing in the Asheville Area. We consider there to be 5 levels of financing locally. Our angel investing network, the Asheville Angels, was founded in 2014. In 2019, we launched the Asheville Impact Micro-Grant to address the needs of Entrepreneurs at the start of their journey.
