Ash Devata, Angel Investor

Ash Devata is the CEO of GreyNoise Intelligence, leading the company’s mission to be “patient zero” for perimeter attacks by deploying global honeypot sensors and providing real‑time insights into reconnaissance and exploitation activity across edge devices. Previously, Ash spent five years at Cisco, where he served as Vice President & General Manager of Zero Trust and Duo, succeeding Duo’s co‑founder Dug Song and expanding the business to over 30,000 customers. He also held senior product leadership roles after Cisco’s acquisition of Duo Security, where he was Vice President of Products and helped shape the company’s Zero Trust strategy. Alongside his operating roles, Ash is an active angel investor and advisor. He has backed startups such as SolidCore.ai, Amplifier Security, dweva.com, Cyberhaven, runZero, and Secureframe, and has advised companies including 1Password, Coalition, Push Security, and SGNL.AI. His portfolio reflects a consistent focus on cybersecurity, SaaS, and enterprise infrastructure.
