ARTIS Ventures (AV) is a San Francisco-based venture capital firm founded in 2001, guided by the belief that frontier technologies can fundamentally transform and strengthen the human condition. The firm coined the term "TechBio" to describe its core investment thesis — the convergence of computer science and life science, applying engineering principles and data-driven discovery to healthcare.
