"I have a passion for security and distributed systems and their application to real-world problems. As a co-founder and CTO of HashiCorp, I bring both those interests into the world of DevOps tooling. As a former practitioner and proponent of open source software, I have helped design and implement the HashiCorp products to solve end-user problems that I experienced firsthand, while applying the state-of-the-art from academic research." Previously, Armon was a Software Engineer at kiip, a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, and a Software Developer Intern at Amazon.com. Armon, is also an angel investor. He has made investments in Clutch Security, Wing Cloud, Fermyon Technologies, and Metronome.
