Our investments target areas of the economy that can achieve significant decarbonization results by increasing energy, resource, and process efficiency. Sector focus: ▪ Industrial and manufacturing ▪ Chemicals and materials ▪ Food and agriculture ▪ Energy efficiency and green fuels Investment Criteria ▪ Decarbonization technologies with a cost advantage We invest in technologies that deliver better decarbonization results compared with conventional products or processes – at cost-parity or lower. ▪ Clear path to control and value creation We target a controlling stake in cash-generative or late-stage growth businesses where we see multiple opportunities to drive growth. ▪ Investment protection We look for businesses with some form of intellectual property and will seek to create downside protection via structured equity investments, where appropriate. ▪ Solid fundamentals We target businesses that can deliver strong financial returns, underpinned by a sizeable addressable market and established long-term contracts.
