Amy Duncan, Angel Investor

Amy Duncan is a consultant, entrepreneur, and investor with over 20 years of experience working in the life science/biotech industry. As an experienced marketing strategist, she led product management, managed corporate branding, developed marketing programs, sold capital equipment at what is now Thermo Scientific; and directed product/marketing initiatives at an entrepreneurial start-up. Through her business, Goldfish Consulting, Amy has advised over 100 life science companies and scientific founders at all stages with strategy, execution, and commercialization. Active in the local startup community, she is the Fund Manager of the San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) fund III, raising over $1.7M from mostly first-time angel investors in four months that invested in five companies.
