Alper Turken is a Technology Executive, Investor, and Philosopher. Alper is a Senior Leader with an outstanding track record in leading complex high-tech businesses. He manages highly specialized large teams and partner ecosystems distributed over wide geographies. He has been managing businesses and teams in the US, Europe, APAC, Middle East, and Africa. He is also involved in a broad range of technologies including Mobility, Wifi, IPTV, OTT, DOCSIS, Broadcast, IoT, and Services. Throughout his career, he has done a wide range of roles from Hardware/Software Design, Systems Engineering, and Sales to Go-to-Market Management. As an investor, Alper invests in start-ups and public companies that are working to solve difficult problems with a promise to have a broad and enduring impact on our lives. Most recently, he has been interested in Deep Learning, Genomics, CRISPR, CAR-T, Blockchain, and Semiconductors. As a philosopher, he thinks about difficult problems that have kept human beings thinking since the beginning of time. He approaches philosophy as a personal, instead of academic, activity.
