Allied Venture Partners is an angel investor that diversifies Western Canada's funding ecosystem for technology founders and investors. Our mission is to grow & diversify Western Canada’s technology startup ecosystem by strategically bridging gaps among three key market participants: local angel investors, local entrepreneurs, and foreign investors. Our strategy is threefold: Increased education & portfolio diversification for local angel investors through a proprietary mix of outside deal flow from established venture capital markets, like Silicon Valley, Toronto & New York. Provide foreign/out-of-province investors, including angels and venture capitalists, with a trusted and reliable access point to Canada’s fastest-growing technology ecosystem: Western Canada. Expand the availability of angel funding for local entrepreneurs to include experienced outside technology investors, while providing valuable networking, knowledge, and mentorship opportunities to enhance scale & growth. Since our official launch in Q4 2020, AlliedVP has quickly grown to more than 400 investors across 10 countries and has deployed over $500,000 into early-stage startups.
