Alise Otilia Ramirez is a first-generation Afro-Latina and climate activist passionate about mitigating the effects of climate change through data and storytelling.  As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Netflix, she improves the observability for guiding engineering investments related to efficiency, availability and sustainability. She’s also an active angel investor and is committed to increasing diversity and inclusion in the venture capital ecosystem. Most of her investments are in startups that lead positive impact on racial and climate justice. Her portfolio includes Hanahana Beauty, Ammobia, Slang.ai, Cap Table Coalition, and IO Connect Services. She has also been a Member of the Black Angel Group since 2023.
