Alfred Botchway, Angel Investor

Dr. Alfred Botchway currently serves as the CEO of Attentive Science, a non-clinical contract research laboratory based in Kansas City. Dr. Botchway recently served as the Interim CEO of BioKansas, a 501(c)(3) trade organization and voice of the bioscience community in Kansas, during a nationwide search for a CEO while he remained the Board Chair. Alfred has formerly served on several boards, including for-profit as well as not-for-profit organizations. Alfred has many years of experience spanning academic research, a major pharmaceutical company, and a contract laboratory, consequently retaining extensive insight into drug and/or chemical development. In 2006, Dr. Botchway founded and was the CEO of Xenometrics, LLC, a nonclinical contract research laboratory that focused on assessing the safety profile of pharmaceutical, biotechnological, agrochemical products, and medical devices. Subsequent to the acquisition of Xenometrics in Q4 of 2017, Alfred remained with the organization for over a year as part of the Executive team, furthering the growth of the Kansas City site as well as assisting with strategic planning for seven other global sites. Dr. Alfred Botchway is an investor in his own right and remains an active angel investor.
