Alex King, Angel Investor

Alex King is a board member, advisor, and angel investor focused on early-stage FinTech companies. His pre-seed and seed investments include Chowder, CreditNinja, Possible Finance, Fluid, KredFeed, OneCarNow, SuperSim, Actuate, CodaPet, Fire Neural Network, and Harvest Increase Agriculture, among others. He is an executive with a proven track record in startup and high-growth environments. As former CEO of Future Finance, a top 25 European FinTech, he recruited a new C-suite team that closed a €40 million Series C round, sold a £60 million portfolio, and secured a £100 million debt facility. Earlier in his career, King spent a decade at Enova, a FinTech that IPO-ed on the NYSE (ticker: ENVA). Joining as employee number 50, he helped grow the company from ~$50 million in revenue to $350 million annually, delivering $150 million in annual EBITDA and scaling operations to ~350 team members. He also built a lending business that originated several billion in loans within six years, including $1 billion in the sixth year alone.
