Alex Hofmann, Angel Investor

Alex Hofmann is the CEO and Co-founder of 9 Count Inc., a mobile app company that launched in 2018 with a mission to help people feel connected. He is a Board Member at Lex, a fast-growing LGBTQ+ social app fostering community, expression, and connection. Hofmann held the role of musical.ly’s President in North America, where he led expansion efforts to build the world’s fastest-growing entertainment social network. In early 2018, Hofmann announced he was moving on from musical.ly to pursue new ventures following the company’s successful merger with Chinese tech giant, Bytedance. He is currently investing in and advising new startups. He remains an ally and advisor to musical.ly.
