As the corporate venture arm of Aflac, we invest in promising young companies that develop disruptive innovations in insurance, healthcare, finance, analytics and other related fields. In addition to capital, we bring industry knowledge and expertise, and can facilitate opportunities for commercial partnerships and collaboration. More than just investors, we think of ourselves as true partners – helping early- to growth-stage startups achieve scale and realize their full potential. We target early- to growth-stage startups with a strong value proposition and capable management team. We look to invest in and partner with innovators whose disruptive solutions align with Aflac’s strategic interests. Our initial investment will typically range from $1 million to $3 million, with additional capacity for follow-ons, and we’re open to working with other investors.
