About Additive Voucher Program (AVP)

The Additive Voucher Program (AVP) provides companies with a matching grant to assist with the acquisition of Additive Manufacturing technology. Eligible companies can apply for a grant up to $20,000 for Additive Manufacturing Hardware, Software, and related third-party integration services. Funding is awarded on a first-come first-served basis. The program is administered by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology with funding provided through the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development's Manufacturing Innovation Fund. Eligibility Criteria: The proposed project must be consistent with the program goals, including but not limited to, developing new technologies and growing new business in Connecticut. -Applicants must not have committed to the project being proposed. If a proposal has been signed, a PO placed, or a deposit made, the project WILL NOT be considered. -A consult with a CCAT Engineer is required in advance of submitting a funding application (Download Consult Request Form Here). -Must be a manufacturing company or allied service provider. -Must have a manufacturing facility in Connecticut or relocating operations to CT. -Must evidence good standing with the DRS and DOL and other relevant state or local agencies. -Must be registered for at least 3-years and must be generating manufacturing revenue. -Must have at least 3 full-time employees and fewer than 300 employees. -At least 51% of an applicant’s revenue must be generated from the sale of goods they manufacture or from allied services provided to manufacturers. -Proposed project value must be at least $5,000. -Must evidence the ability to complete the proposed project and provide the required 1:1 match.
