42 Ventures partners with private equity firms to invest in industry-focused Agentic AI software businesses and brings its deep operating expertise to accelerate the development of those portfolio companies. 42 Ventures is the investing and operating business of Ned Stringham, who has been developing successful software businesses for the last 25 years. In that time, Stringham has served as CEO, Chair, and Board member of over a dozen small and mid-sized software businesses, sometimes as the founder and primary investor and other times as a minority investor and partner with several private equity firms. These businesses have collectively taken in over $350M in equity and returned nearly $1.5B on those investments to date. The firm continues to work with a handful of private equity investors on software projects, bringing its network of experts to actively support the growth of those companies.
