2024 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program

The purpose of the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program is to award funds to projects that enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops. Specialty crops are broadly defined as fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, and horticulture products, including floriculture. Please note that the USDA does not classify hemp as a specialty crop. This means that projects to benefit hemp crops or products will not be eligible for funding under the SCBGP. Please refer to USDA-AMS's lists of eligible and ineligible crops.
