 ClearPath Services Inc. (“CLEARPATH”) was founded in 2025 to provide mobile imaging services to rural communities in Western Canada. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (“MRI”) is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool which produces internal images of the human body. Major diagnostic imaging services in western Canada are predominately located in major metropolitan centers, leaving rural populations with minimal access to MRI services. Mobile diagnostic imaging services have been in use for over 15 years in various countries around the world, including the US, UK, Sweden, and Canada. While there are approximately 1200 mobile MRI units operating in the United States, Canada only has 5 such units with one of these are located in the Prairie Provinces. Recent statistics from Alberta Health Services Annual Report indicate that customers are on waiting lists up to 53 days long or more. According to a 2020 Fraser Institute Survey, the wait list for MRI exams in Alberta, grew by 40 per cent between 2015 and 2020, with an MRI wait list at 66,000. CLEARPATH will supply a comprehensive mobile-based specialized MRI imaging service to private medical & chiropractic practices across the Prairie Provinces.
