WHERE DID IT START?
This has been an interesting journey. I was working full-time as a Agile Coach, and being an independent filmmaker on the side. I finished my film and I was ready to distribute it and I ran into several roadblocks. I just wanted to monetize my film but most sites required followers before reaching monetization. Then I found filmhub. A startup in Santa Monica that distributes films for indie filmmakers. The short version, I built a relationship and acquired licenses for 21,000 films. This is AMAZING news and makes us KINGS of indie content. It's more than Hulu and HBO MAX!! Now I just need a solid OTT Platform to offer the best experience. So Im seeking investors.
I chose the Vplayer from Contus Tech. They offer White Label Streaming and provide all source the code for $45,000. They also offer FREE SUPPORT 3 -6 months post launch support. Much cheaper than hiring a team!!
Is there a market? YES, There are PLENTY of cable providers and there is room in the market for another streaming service. How do I know? I have worked on web applications for over 20 years including consulting Hulu, Disney, CBSi and Beachbody. NOW, I want to work for myself!! After 24 years in Corporate America, this app is my OUT!
