Yao Man Enterprises, Inc. will first launch its Yaoman-Universe comic series starting with JUANITA MENDOZA Volume 1, comic issues #1-5, in Anime.
JUANITA MENDOZA is our most dynamic and resilient female ‘franchise’ character. A wealthy, brilliant cultural anthropologist who among other attributes, looks for lost civilizations throughout the Americas and is a gold/treasure hunter. (2 page Bio in a separate attachment is available)
Because of the number of comics being converted into everyday multi-media, JUANITA MENDOZA and her adventures can live in Animation, ‘live action’ film/television series, video games, books… as well as the obvious, comics.

The Marvel universe all began as comic books.
Video game franchises have been created directly from comic books.
So, too, video game franchises are spawning TV and FILM properties.
The timing is ripe today for creating JUANITA MENDOZA Comic Issues #1-5.

Our goal is to first create a high quality JUANITA MENDOZA comic #1-5 in Anime (in both English and Spanish) so that we can immediately draw attention and market luck to our product. With a strong tie-in to the Latino market and the comic market having doubled in size in the USA during the past year, JUANITA MENDOZA certainly has the potential to make a huge splash as a multi-media franchise character.
We have given JUANITA MENDOZA a strong profile to work from, and believe Comic Issues #1-5 will launch her as a major force to reckon with.
We believe we will have no problem creating stories for new comic issues and graphic novels starring JUANITA MENDOZA. We can create a new “A” story like we did for comic issues #1-5, or take an “A” story from a number of sources.
We are also actively working on the treatment to Book 2, “Juanita Mendoza’s Big Adventure” and plan to continue her dynamic adventures!!!
