About Us...
Wyld Acres is a family-operated farm and arena.  Managers, Derry and Angela, have a wealth of knowledge between the two of them.  Myself, Angela,  has been a middle school teacher for nearly 18 years with a Master of education. Derry has been living and working in local industry his entire life.  Together, we have 3 children, one of whom was the driving force to move forward with this unique business opportunity. Our son is on the spectrum and has worked with the previous owner doing animal therapy.  The calmness and patience of the animals, as well as their body language, helped our son figure out how to interact with them.

About Our Company...
At Wyld Acres, we offer a unique initiative aimed at creating a welcoming and inclusive farm environment tailored to the needs of neurodivergent children, while also providing enriching summer camp experiences for all children.
Our vision at Wyld Acres is to establish a farm-based camp that not only nurtures the developmental needs of neurodivergent children but also fosters an environment of inclusion and learning for children from all backgrounds. This venture is more than just a summer camp; it's a community-focused project designed to promote understanding, acceptance, and personal growth. Not only that, it allows the community to see and participate in farm life and what that experience can bring to them.  The animals on our farm are calm and great for healing and helping.

Our Mission...
The core of our mission is to:
  1. Create a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Our farm is designed to be a haven where neurodivergent children can thrive, with tailored activities that cater to their unique needs and challenges.
  2. Foster Inclusivity and Understanding: By integrating children of all abilities, we aim to cultivate an atmosphere of empathy, respect, and mutual learning.
  3. Promote Personal Development: Through structured activities centered around farm life, arts, and nature, we aim to help all children develop essential life skills, such as responsibility, teamwork, and self-confidence.
  4. Engage with Nature: The farm setting provides a serene backdrop for children to connect with nature, offering therapeutic benefits and promoting environmental stewardship.
Our business plan outlines a sustainable model, projecting growth and positive social impact.
