I designed the Wedge Can to solve a few issues I had in my small bathroom.
“A rectangular trash can behind the door was too wide. I could only open the door part-way, and my dog kept rummaging through the contents because there wasn’t a lid. Small plastic trash cans don’t have hinged lids that snaps
closed, I looked every where to no avail.” So I created one.
The Wedge Can is a uniquely shaped trash receptacle for the home or office. I created a special hinge on the narrow end and a snap-latch on the wide end that keeps it closed and secure.
It fits in those tight places i.e. under the sink, behind the door, in the bathroom, or under the desk. It’s an attractive space saver that offers plenty of capacity.
The Wedge Can is made from recycled plastic. Currently, it’s a neutral gray and the lid is a chalk gray. Future design plans are to create different color lids to accessorize the room.
Below items are what I have completed, and/or will complete once funding is secured.
· CNC MASTERED PROTOTYPE COMPLETE; hinge and snap-latch tested at 100% success
· INJECTION MOLDS $28,000; once Dongguan Roupan Plastic Hardware Products Company LTD., receives payment it will take 45 days to finish tooling the injection molds.
· PRICE FOR MASS PRODUCTION; $2.60 per unit for a 5,000 piece order using recycled plastics which totals $13,000, plus shipping from Dongguan Roupan Plastic Hardware LTD., in China.

$75,000 investment for injection molds, manufacturing 5,000 Wedge Cans, shipping and storage, advertising, additional global patent fees, buffer for unexpected expenses.
Will negotiate equity in my company; I am flexible and prefer the Investor(s) have connections and be enthusiastic to participate in the “process” toward a successful outcome.
My product is sustainable, unique, solves daily issues, and will go global.
