Washington Mobile Ultrasound

 Washington Mobile Ultrasound is a newly founded business that currently has two sonographers who both hold ARDMS (Abd/small parts, OB/Gyn and BR), RVT and RDCS credentials. The model we are starting the company with requires staffing providers offices with the capability of offering ultrasound exams right at their office. This will create better patient compliance and offer a more comfortable setting for the patient by receiving their ultrasound exams right at the providers office they already choose to be seen at. Our services are an hourly fee for service charge. We have set up with two Radiology groups for reads. Providers office will also be responsible to cover the cost of radiology reads. The providers office, who are already in network to receive reimbursement from patients' insurance, will submit for the exam done in their facility and from those reimbursements they will be able to pay for the services being invoiced from Washington Mobile Ultrasound, once every month. The remaining revenue goes back into providers facility. The patients will be able to save money spent because they will be having the exam done at their providers office instead of at outside imaging centers commonly associated with hospitals. 
There are currently 3 providers at this time interested in knowing more. One who has already verbally signed up. Because we are mobile, we offer the ability to set days with the providers to satisfy their need. If they are only seeing 10-20 patient referrals going out a month then they may want to just book for 2 days a month and so forth. Smaller providers offices can now keep patient revenue in their office while not paying the large overhead to set up ultrasound in their facility to cover a small volume.  

We would like to branch out and expand the mobile business by being able to offer services to in home care, hospice, rehabilitation centers, and just about anyone who needs mobile services. The radiology groups also read preventative scans and can offer these exams via mobile. Preventative scan such as CIMT, Thyroid or breast screenings.
