FUNDING REQUEST
We are seeking angel investment to bring Voz Languages to life. Immediate funding will be used to finalize our platform, build out initial course offerings, and support our first cohort of educators. Your investment will help Voz Languages grow into a global leader in personalized, meaningful language education while delivering both tangible learner outcomes and sustainable returns for educators.

PLATFORM LAUNCH AND MILESTONES
The official launch of Voz Languages will take place in February, marking the beginning of a dynamic and exciting journey.   • February (Launch): Voz Languages officially launches with a core set of 5 languages and a selection of culturally rich, engaging courses created by a global community of expert course creators.
  • Month 3-6: Aim to acquire 10,000 users through targeted digital marketing campaigns and optimize user experience based on feedback and engagement metrics.
  • Year 1: Reach 50,000 active users, expand to 15 languages, and refine our subscription model to encourage customer retention, aiming for $500,000 in revenue.
  • Year 2: Grow the user base to 200,000 and expand to 25+ languages, with additional features such as personalized AI-assisted tutoring, achieving $2 million in revenue.
  • Year 3-5: Scale to 1 million active users, enter international markets, and expand offerings to 40+ languages, generating $20 million in annual revenue by year five.

Voz Languages will charge course creators a platform fee of 30%-33% on all course sales, which will remain in place as the platform grows.

Year 2: Revenue growth to $2 million as we expand our user base to 200,000 and continue to scale both subscriptions and course sales, with premium offerings and improved conversion rates. The platform fee for course creators will remain consistent, contributing to overall revenue growth.

Year 3: Reach $7 million in revenue with 500,000 active users, enhanced platform features, and a wider range of language offerings, including continued expansion of individual and bundled courses. Course creators will continue to be charged the platform fee, generating a steady stream of income.

  1. CEO: $300,000
    1. The CEO will play a central role in leading the strategic direction, overseeing all operations, and managing relationships with investors, educators, and stakeholders.
    2. This compensation ensures that the CEO can fully dedicate their time and expertise to the startup, especially during the critical early stages of platform development and launch.
    3. The CEO will also be responsible for driving Voz Languages’ mission, vision, and overall growth, ensuring that the company is positioned for long-term success.
  2. Director of Language Education and Community Outreach: $125,000
    1. The Senior Director will develop strategies to engage diverse communities, including educational institutions and advocacy groups, to raise awareness about Voz Languages' accessible language learning tools.
    2. She will also focus on collaborating to design innovative teaching methodologies, incorporating trends in educational technology and language acquisition. 
    3. Additionally, she will include developing language proficiency frameworks, ensuring alignment with international standards, and leading cross-functional teams to enhance educational resources. 
    4. Finally, the role emphasizes inclusivity, ongoing assessment of learning outcomes, and using user feedback to improve teaching practices and platform features.
  3. Program Directors: $350,000
    1. These leaders will assist course creators and instructors in using educational tools, create helpful resources, and mentor new instructors through course creation and feedback. 
    2. They will review course content to ensure quality and accessibility and collaborate with instructors and admins as needed. 
    3. Additionally, the program leaders will manage and analyze student data, using feedback to improve instructor training and course curriculum development.
    4. Their leadership will help cultivate a diverse community of educators and ensure that content meets the highest quality standards.
  4. Course Content Design and Community Leads: $450,000
    1. The leads will provide mentorship and support to course creators.
    2. They will offer strategic guidance to educators, fostering collaboration, creativity, and the creation of high-quality courses. 
    3. This role will be essential in cultivating a community of course creators and maintaining the overall quality of content.
  5. Community Partners for Language Education: $175,000
    1. Community partners will focus on building strong relationships with schools, community centers, learning centers, and NGOs to understand their language learning needs and challenges. It will involve facilitating discussions and workshops to align language education with community interests, and promoting Voz Languages' mission at events and conferences. 
    2. The position will also serve as a liaison between communities and the curriculum development team, ensuring courses are culturally relevant and personalized. 
    3. Additionally, the role will include promoting Voz Languages’ offerings, creating promotional materials, and collaborating with various teams to gather feedback and continuously improve course content and community engagement efforts.

Marketing & User Acquisition: $200,000
  1. Digital Marketing Campaigns: $100,000
    • Develop targeted campaigns across social media, Google ads, and other digital channels to acquire early users.
    • Focus on building brand awareness and driving initial sign-ups for the platform.
  2. Partnerships & Influencer Marketing: $50,000
    • Partner with language learning influencers, bloggers, and other educational platforms for collaborative campaigns.
  3. Branding & Public Relations: $50,000
