I have been an educator in the beauty industry for eighteen years. During the length of my teaching career, I have noticed the lack of confidence in treatment skills in newly licensed individuals entering the industry, particularly esthetics.
I would like to open a spa focusing on having newly licensed individuals receive the support and extra hands-on training by licensed master estheticians and educators that will address individual weaknesses and concerns. At the same time, the spa will operate as a state-of-the-art facility using innovative technology and equipment, products, and protocols to address client skincare concerns. Currently, no spa in the Commonwealth of Virginia operates in this manner.
Student individuals will pay a contracted fee for a limited time frame of support and education. Clients will also pay a fee for services they receive, accumulating revenue from two sources.
