VR Trauma treatment that can be sent anywhere and provide 20-30 min symptom reduction after acute trauma to forestall PTSD. Working to integrate ai so the tool is standalone.
The current version of the tool has been used in clinical practice for the last 6 years, and has a 90% + success rate for treating single incident trauma, in under and hour, without the user having to disclose the trauma to the clinician. Once the headset has been automated the cost to the company for treatment will be cut in half as therapists will not be needed to directly monitor each session, just several clinicians on call for crisis for all headsets in operation. A use example is a client that watched a person jump off an overpass. they had used the headset in personal therapy the year before and called the clinician seeing if they could meet that night for acute trauma help. They arrived at the office, asked if the headset was on and asked the clinician to start the headset. The user, familiar with the protocol was able to walk themselves through the protocol in 10 minutes, resolving the intrusive thoughts and images from the trauma they had witnessed earlier in the day. They took the headset off, thanked the clinician and asked how much they owed them, and left. total time take 15 minutes to resolve an acute trauma. Other potential use cases, school shootings, 50 headsets to process the entire school in two days, military use in combat, processing acute trauma following combat. there are 6.3 billion people on earth with a single incident trauma that impacts their life. The cost for PTSD is 283 billion a year to the us GDP. We have a way to decrease this and help people live a life without trauma symptoms. i would be happy to bring the headset to you to demo it.
