Ryan is a licenced Professional Technologist through ASET and a graduate of Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with over 20+ year of progressive project and technical experience in the energy sector. In 2016 his first exposure to online marketing was starting a community page called YYCGRIND which he acquired over 20K followers on various social media platforms generating revenue for promoting local businesses and sales of custom apparel products. In 2017 he acquired a position as marketing coordinator at ABM College and executed the college’s digital marketing initiatives and negotiated contracts with Pattison Outdoor for C-Train advertising, CTV commercials and various radio advertisements.
In 2017, Ryan started and operated an online e-commerce platform called Bezel House Ventures Inc. Developed brand awareness and effectively facilitated brand management and marketing. Promoted products on multiple channels, including social media, onlin e ad campaigns, and primarily word-of-mouth initiatives. Bezel House successfully achieved social media growth by as much as 130% year after year as a result achieved over 1700% increase in revenue from 2017 to 2022, resulting in $6.62MM + in revenue in less than 6 years with no employees and working full time in the Energy Sector.
The business facilitated and acquired Authorized Retailer designation for multiple international brands and successfully acqu ired over 5,000 + customers across Canada with 40-70% repeat customer rate year after year. Ryan successfully sold the business in 2023.
During the 6 years operating the online e-commerce platform Ryan established strategies to be top listed google search without paying google ads and moved forward with a viral word of mouth marketing strategy which resulted in $0 ad spend for conventional digital marketing. The basis of these learnings are the fundamental factors that will result in success for our concept and cost saving opportunities for our customers.
