VioShield is a Colorado-based wellness technology company that has developed an innovative, patent-pending, hands-free light therapy table designed to make at-home pain management simpler, more convenient, and accessible from head to toe.
The Problem
Millions of chronic pain sufferers spend a lot of money piecing together fragmented gadgets, constantly cycling through restrictive gloves, shoes, belts, and pads that only treat one isolated body part at a time. Hard-to-reach areas, such as the lower back and shoulders, present additional challenges.
Our Solution
VioShield replaces piecemeal gadgets with a hands-free light therapy table, delivering light to treat any body part—from head to toe—with zero wearing, holding, or repositioning.
For people with painful, stiff, or arthritic hands, wearing gloves, fastening straps, or gripping handheld devices can be difficult and uncomfortable—the very activities they are trying to avoid. VioShield eliminates the need to grip, wear, or fasten light therapy devices. Simply place your hands—or any other body area—under the table and let the light do the work.
Proprietary Light Technology
Beyond its unique folding-table architecture, VioShield incorporates proprietary automated multi-wavelength sequencing. Our VioShield Trio™ technology combines violet-blue and red light in three consecutive five-minute stages:
- Purify: Violet-blue light.
- Revitalize: Combined violet-blue and red light.
- Rejuvenate: Red light.
VioShield has filed a PCT patent application covering innovations in its structural and thermal architecture, automated light sequencing, and synergistic applications of light with botanical oils.
Customers and Business Model
VioShield initially targets consumers seeking convenient, non-drug wellness solutions for mild-to-moderate hand, wrist, and joint pain relief, with broader applications for muscle recovery and total-body light wellness.
Our business model centers on selling proprietary light wellness hardware directly to consumers. The Personal Light Wellness Table has a retail price (MSRP) of $389.
Our commercial strategy begins with Kickstarter, followed by direct-to-consumer sales, creator partnerships, Amazon, and expansion into professional wellness channels, including physical therapy practices and wellness clinics.
Product Readiness
VioShield has completed three product generations and deployed more than 12 field units for real-world evaluation. Early users have reported encouraging experiences, including improvements in hand comfort and dexterity.
Production tooling is complete, initial 50-unit pilot production has started, and Kickstarter pre-launch promotions are underway.
Experienced Leadership and Manufacturing
VioShield is led by founder and CEO Fazle Quazi, a physicist and electrical engineer with more than 35 years of engineering, manufacturing, and commercialization experience and over 25 issued patents.
His background includes managing the production and shipment of more than 40,000 Philips CMH horticultural lights and maintaining longstanding global supplier and contract-manufacturing relationships.
The team includes Stephanie Winiecki, Head of Sales & Growth, and Kevin Orban, Hardware & Mechanical Engineer, supported by experienced financial and regulatory advisors.
VioShield leverages Boulderlamp, a Colorado-based lighting company, for its established engineering, assembly, and packaging infrastructure, along with the founder's longstanding relationships with ams OSRAM and Philips/Signify.
