Via Pilates is a minority woman-owned health and wellness business focused on therapeutic exercise and movement for physical rehabilitation and wellness. We focus on educating and inspiring clients to move beyond pain to live fuller lives, utilizing industry best-practices in individual or small-group client-focused sessions where movement truly can make change. We work with a network of physicians, in-house and outside physical therapists, in-house and outside medical massage specialists, nutritionists and registered dietitians, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for our clients, many of whom are managing conditions ranging from rheumatoid arthritis to scoliosis to cancer to osteoporosis to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and more.
Via Pilates also provides opportunities for training, education and mentorship in physical rehabilitation and movement as “medicine” as an Authorized Training Center for Balanced Body's Pilates, CoreAlign, Anatomy and other programming. In addition, Via Pilates offers scholarships to students from black and other underrepresented minorities who are interested in learning to teach others to live better lives through movement.
Jeanine Yutani, the founder of Via Pilates, is a minority woman, herself, who has survived serious career-ending injury and multiple autoimmune system disorders, her life was changed - or as she says, saved - through a Pilates-based rehabilitative practice. As such, she founded Via Pilates and its holistic method to help others learn to move past their pain and live fuller, happier, healthier, more pain-free lives. Jeanine has developed programming and methods being used around the world to work with clients dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, scoliosis and Ehlers-Danlos. She has developed and is developing additional Pilates equipment and accessories for individuals with limited hand mobility due to surgeries, fusions or pain which current equipment does not address.
