We are a group of older veterans that want to assist younger veterans in setting up and operating their own home service businesses (painting, lawn care, etc.), we use our collective buying power to buy trucks & power equipment at discount then pass the savings onto the veteran business owners.
The Business:
We take EXISTING veteran owned businesses, outfit them with additional equipment, they hire vets to work with our equipment, we market their services to the general public from our website. Our website also handles phone calls, schedule appointments and offer other backend services. We encourage local veteran business owners to work together which not only allows them to bid on much larger projects but to refer work opportunities back and forth, there are 34 SIC code businesses that service the homeowners. In the 248-year history of the military no one has ever put vets working together after their military service until us.
The Market:
Several years ago we did a direct mail test market for lawn care services in a well-to-do area… we got a huge reply from the home owners for they wanted to employ veterans. Better yet, instead of spending $375 on direct mail, we went to the local veterans organizations and asked them if they would hire a vet (total cost was a membership in their club $31). Discovering how responsive the general public is to helping veterans we asked one of our vendors if they would sponsor a veteran business owner. The auto manufacturing company is setting up a “support your local veteran” month where participating dealerships nationwide display a truck and help a local veteran get that vehicle after the ads sales on the vehicle are sold.
Business Model:
We are replicating a proven model that has over twenty years experience; Angie's List and Home Advisor the only difference between us and them is ALL our owners and employees are either veterans or their family members.
Process/Proof
Our old website (www.VeteransIncorporated.com) needs to be remodeled and greatly expanded so it can handle the above stated national exposure. Everyone we have ever spoken with is excited what we are offering especially, the veterans and veteran organizations. At this time, without a functional website, we have not approached the media and press nor generated any income. BUT our primary vendor (truck manufacturing company) anticipates we will have over 15,000 veterans employed within 3 years. We anticipate we will have 1500 vets employed by July of 2024 because after our initial rollout the remaining 3 primary truck companies will want to get a similar national public exposure. In the 4th. quarter of next year, we will allow all 4 truck manufacturing companies (combined total of approximately 10,000 dealerships) to do a combined promotion. This national exposure through the 4 truck manufacturing companies (Chevy, Ford, GMC and Ram) will insure we hit the mark as stated above by July of 2024. After all, there are 6 million unemployed veterans and we are only talking about a minute fraction of that number to get employed - almost everyone supports veterans and allowing individuals and local businesses to help a local veteran business owner get employed is a win, win situation. The individuals and businesses that paid to advertise on the trucks and trailers also win because the community will see the advertising on the local veteran business owner equipment, Win, Win
Objective/Future
After the website is completed, we will run an initial market test, 4-6 weeks later another local test. Then we will test the Chicagoland collar counties with 40 to 50 Divisions. After each of these “tests” we review, alter, then adjust our marketing prior to proceeding. After the third test is completed, we will be hosted at our initial truck mfg. plant where our guest speaker will invite any existing veteran business owner nationwide that want to add one of our trucks to their business, a direct referral to the local truck dealership where they will select their equipment, what makes this a great is; each local vehicle dealership introduces the individual veteran business owners to the local community businesses; and these businesses buy ad space on the truck and trailers which pays for each Division (single veteran business owner) equipment in full. After this national exposure the remaining three truck manufacturing companies will want to participate as stated above.

Our company is unlike any other because of whom we are, what this means is we are able to show the support of local people and businesses by selling advertising space on the trucks and trailers of the local Division Owners - we do this, by placing our sponsors personal name, company name or company logos on our equipment. Part of the graphics on our trailers are red and blue stripes that surround each trailer, as you come closer to the trailers you see these stripes are actually composed of individuals and businesses names that support our local veterans. Another income stream for us: “Founding Fathers” are national companies that pay us to place their logo on our logo, this promotional advertising is like the Super Bowl but instead of a one-time exposure ours will last a minimum of 5 years and generates more than $40M annually.
We are, Veterans serving Veterans so that, they may serve their local communities.
After initial 4 step rollout, we will allow other truck manufacturing companies to advertise.
Once fully functional we have a total of eight income streams

We are offering equity up to a total of 30% for $15M but will accept smaller pieces at equal pricing.
In addition, we would accept short term asset based loans at an agreed upon percentage and up to three years to purchase trucks, trailers, power equipment or real estate.
Or an investment as simple as funding a single veteran owned business (Division) that includes everything needed for one veteran business, starting at $24K (paint division with a small trailer and ladders) up to $194K (landscape division with two trucks, four trailers and two tractors).
An investor from outside this funding program offered to fund ten veteran business owners - after our discussions, they are going to purchase a truck dealership so we can buy trucks for the veterans at the lowest price possible.
Fund our in-house bank (7th. income stream approximately $5M) or insurance program (8th. income stream $5 to $8M).
Additional information we have both a “C” corporation and a 501C3 non-profit.
When we get 15,000 veteran businesses and each business is doing only $300,000 that represents $4.5 B in gross annual income.
